Lessons & teachers

Do we get the same teacher each week?

Yes. The academy matches each student with one teacher and keeps that pairing consistent, so lessons build on each other. If a pairing isn't working, tell the manager and it's changed. See how matching works.

How are teachers vetted?

Every teacher is interviewed and approved by the academy manager before they ever meet a student, and their lessons are reviewed on an ongoing basis. WestBridge is a managed academy, not an open marketplace.

How long is a lesson?

A full one-to-one lesson is 50–60 minutes, live on Zoom. That is exactly one credit.

What curriculum do you follow?

Lessons are mapped to UK specifications: A-Level, IGCSE and GCSE (Edexcel), so the same curriculum travels with your child wherever they are in the world.

How do I become a WestBridge teacher?

We take on subject specialists through an interview and approval process with a manager, never an open sign-up. Rates are set per subject and level, and you're paid per delivered lesson. Teaching at WestBridge.

Credits & billing

What is a credit, and what does one cover?

One credit is one full one-to-one lesson. A credit is only spent when a real lesson is delivered, never for a no-show on our side, or a cancellation made more than 24 hours ahead. See packages and pricing.

How long are credits valid?

12 months from purchase. Unused credits carry over into a new package bought before they expire, so nothing you've paid for is ever quietly lost.

Can we reschedule a lesson?

Free up to 24 hours before the lesson starts. Inside that window the credit is used, because the teacher's time was already reserved for your student.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new student gets one free demo lesson: a real, recorded, summarised class with a vetted teacher. No card required to claim it. Claim a free demo lesson.

Recordings & progress

How do the recordings and summaries work?

Every lesson is recorded automatically. From that recording the platform produces a written summary, a practice quiz and revision notes, checked against what was actually taught, ready almost as soon as the call ends.

Who can see the recordings?

Only the student, their family and the academy. Recordings live in private storage and are reached through an authenticated, permission-checked link, never a public URL, never something that can be shared or guessed.

How do parents follow progress?

Attendance, topics covered, quiz scores and plain-English teacher notes roll into a monthly progress report, so you can read how the term went rather than relying on what your child remembers to mention.

Is the AI marking my child?

No. Teachers teach and assess; the AI only turns the lesson recording into revision material. A human teacher and the academy manager stay accountable for your student's progress.

Safety & account

Is my child's data safe?

Personal details are never shared with teachers, all activity stays on-platform and monitored, and a named academy manager is accountable for safeguarding. Parental consent is captured at sign-up, not as an afterthought.

We're not in the UK, do the times work?

Yes. Lessons are booked and displayed in your own time zone. WestBridge teaches students across the UK, Pakistan and the Gulf, and the platform handles the conversion so nobody does the maths.

Do parents need their own account?

Not today. Parents receive progress reports and can reach the academy manager directly; a dedicated parent portal is on the roadmap.

How do we get started?

Create an account, claim your free demo lesson, and the academy will be in touch to match you with a teacher. It takes a couple of minutes. Talk to the academy.

Still have questions?

Write to the academy and a real person answers, usually within one working day.
